Stamps of the Arabian Nights, Part 14

In 2001 the Palestinian Authority issued a series of 4 stamps depicting scenes from the Arabian Nights.  They included the usual suspects of Sindbad (2nd voyage), Ali Baba, Aladdin and the less common The Magic Horse (sometime also called The Ebony Horse, or The Enchanted Horse).

The Palestinian Authority was established in 1993 as a result of the Oslo Accords.  It was intended to be a 5 year  interim administrative body to govern the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.  Further negotiations to finalize the status of the Authority were to have taken place, but have yet to be concluded.
