Stamps of the Arabian Nights, Part 8

This stamp of Aladdin’s Cave was issued in 1967 in Iraq.  A few other middle Eastern countries issued Arabian Nights theme stamps in that year. The ones that I know of include Ras al Khaima, Fujeira, and Ajman.  This Iraqi stamp provides a clue as to a possible reason.  Besides being the Canadian centennial (and I doubt that they were commemorating that) 1967 was also International Tourist Year.
